In the heart of eastern Paris lies an extraordinary testament to creativity and imagination: the Maximalist mini loft. Designed by architect Anthony Authié of Zyva Studio, this two-story industrial space is a celebration of childhood nostalgia, gaming culture, and personalized design.

The loft's open-plan living, kitchen, and dining area welcome you into a world unlike any other. Within the confines of a large 4.2-meter-high grey box, Authié has curated a space that transcends conventional design boundaries. Furniture, crafted by Authié himself or his circle of friends, adorns the space with character and charm. Take, for instance, the wooden sofa with vibrant red leather cushions, beckoning you to sink in and reminisce about lazy afternoons spent gaming. Nearby, a 3D printed coffee table, inspired by the iconic Super Mario game's spiny Koopa Troopas, adds a playful touch to the room.

The kitchen, a fully metallic marvel, draws inspiration from the cold, sleek aesthetic of Batman's infamous nemesis, Mr. Freeze. With metal doors, a grey granite countertop, and neon pink 3D printed door handles, it's a futuristic dreamscape come to life. Four vibrant orange stools, reminiscent of the pipes in Super Mario games, provide the perfect spot to gather and indulge in culinary adventures.

Ascending the staircase, which cleverly doubles as a wall for one side of the kitchen, leads you to the bedroom—a cozy retreat adorned with whimsy. Here, a curtain of yellow fabric creates the illusion of a vast yellow box, enveloping you in warmth and comfort. Every inch of this 57-square-meter apartment is infused with imaginative touches and personalized flair, making it a truly one-of-a-kind living experience.

The Maximalist mini loft serves as a testament to the transformative power of creativity in small living spaces. Through thoughtful design choices and a nod to nostalgia, Authié has crafted a home that transcends the confines of its square footage, inviting inhabitants to embark on a journey of exploration and self-expression. Whether you're a gaming enthusiast, an admirer of bold design, or simply seeking inspiration for your own living space, this remarkable loft offers a glimpse into the boundless possibilities of creative living.
